Collection: Ohishi Ginsan Japanese Knives

Ohishi Ginsan Japanese knives are a line of handcrafted knives made in Japan. Ginsan (silver 3) steel is one of the best high carbon, yet corrosion resistant, stainless steels used in knife making. If heat treated correctly it can equal and surpass any steel.

The unique forging process creates a Nashiji effect, meaning "pear’s skin" and creates a rough-look cladding. The Western style handles are crafted from Pakka wood to provide a comfortable and secure grip.

Ohishi Ginsan Japanese knives are perfect for a wide range of cutting tasks in the kitchen, from slicing and dicing to chopping and mincing.
