DESCRIPTION

Ohishi Petty (Utility Knife) 150mm is a Ginsan 3 steel knife.

This stunning range is another refined knife range by Akifusa.
Ohishi is also the name of the small village near the famous Mount Fuji, where the Akifusa business is located.
The range has a subtle Nashiji finish (rough look cladding)

Ginsan steel is one of the best high carbon yet corrosion resistant steels used in knife making.
If heat treated correctly it can equal and surpass any steel.
If you are a busy chef or work in a busy kitchen and you need a knife that is a perfect fusion of western style handle and Japanese steel than this is the knife for you.

Perfect fusion of western style handle and Japanese steel......

It is one of my favourite steels to use as a working busy professional chef.
Ginsan steel makes knife care easy for pro cooks or home chefs.
